Hello World,
Up until now, my writing has been mostly for me. I love writing. Love it. I love when an idea hits and I have to get it out before it's gone into the ether. Other times I feel so strongly about something that I'm compelled to type (or scribble) furiously until my emotion is satisfied. The vast majority of these writings or "musings" as I call them, never get much further than my laptop. Well no more.
I'm going to be getting very serious with my writing from here on out and that means opening up the floodgates so that everyone and anyone who wants to read what I have to say is welcome to do so.
These are exciting times and I have so much that I want to expound upon. I have also reached the point in my life where I'm no longer satisfied writing things for myself. I need feedback. I need to know that what I'm putting down is not going to be lost forever without being read by anyone. That is a very frightening thought for any writer. Consider this my need to be heard.
As for the title, well I call my writing outbursts "musings" and my nickname for my computer is "The Typewriter" so naturally those were the only two words stuck in my head when I decided upon this venture.
I can't wait to get started. The topics covered will mostly be film and TV related to start but I won't put any limits on where this will go.
The train is leaving the station and I hope some of you will join me for what I envision as an interesting ride.
